The student community organised the very first MIIT Futsal Tournament on August 11, 2017. Both faculty and students were invited. There were the football players who were nervous about their matches, the organising team busy making sure everything was in order, the volunteers who kept the gears moving, the students who set up “shops” serving delicious snacks, and also the guardians of the ‘MIIT Jail’!

The event provided an opportunity to the students and the faculty to meet and interact without the tension of courses, studies, and performance. It was quite rewarding to see the students have immense fun and draw the faculty into the fun. Everyone was at the receiving end of the famed Burmese generosity once again.
