Dr. U Thein Win, Director-General, Department of Higher Education, Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Daw Nwe Ni, Deputy Director-General, Department of Higher Education, Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Dr. Win Aye, Rector, MIIT, and Dr. Mie Mie Khin, Pro-Rector, MIIT visited the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B) during December 27-30, 2017.

IIIT-B is the university tasked with the responsibility of mentoring and operating MIIT for a period of 5 years. The main objective of this visit was for the delegation to get a first-hand experience of the high quality of education and research being offered by IIIT-B, and what MIIT can expect to grow into within a short period of 5 years.
