Mr. Nandan Singh Bhaisora, Consul General of India in Mandalay, visited MIIT on March 29. He was on campus in order to donate several books to the MIIT Library. Dr. K. R. V. Subramanian, Director, MIIT and Dr. Win Aye, Rector, MIIT welcomed the Consul General and accepted the books on behalf of MIIT. Several faculty members were also present to mark the occasion. The ceremony marked the beginning of regular donation of books towards what will be known as “The India Corner” in the MIIT Library.

During the visit, the Consul General reaffirmed India’s commitment to helping MIIT emerge as one of the top universities in Myanmar.
