The orientation programme for students joining the B.E. (Hons.) programmes in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) in Academic Year 2024-2025 was conducted on November 21, 2024.
MIIT hosted the Warso Robe Offering Ceremony at MIIT main building multi-function hall on July 20, 2024. All faculties and students were actively participated and taken eight precepts, be blessed with chanting from the Sangha, listen to Dhamma talk, offered robes and other requisites to the Sangha and shared merits to all beings.

On February 15, 2024, MIIT organised CodeMutants 2024 – the competitive programming competition for MIIT students. A total of 15 teams comprising of 45 students participated in the CodeMutants.
