Programmes

MIIT currently offers the M.E. programme only in Computer Science & Engineering. In future, there are plans to offer an M.E. programme in Electronics & Communications Engineering as well.

Input Qualifications

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer technology, electronics engineering or their equivalent from one of the recognised universities in Myanmar, or elsewhere.

Duration

The master’s degree programmes at MIIT are structured assuming that the input will be holders of the bachelor’s degree offered by MIIT. If the applicants have a degree that is equivalent to the B.E. (Hons.) degree of MIIT, then they will be eligible for admission to the normal programme, which is structured over 4 semesters. However, if the applicant does not possess a degree that is equivalent to the B.E. (Hons.) degree of MIIT, they will be eligible for a programme whose duration will be about 6 semesters.
