The master’s degree programmes at MIIT are full-time degree programmes conducted at the campus of MIIT in Mandalay, Myanmar. These programmes are designed to be flexible, modern, and rigorous, along the lines of successful higher degree programmes of International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B) and other universities of international repute, and aligned with recommendations of bodies such as IEEE and ACM. These programmes are suitable for candidates aspiring to prepare themselves for a doctoral degree programme, or for a career in the IT industry.

The following are the minimum eligibility requirements for admission to the master’s degree programmes at MIIT:

• B.E. (Hons.) degree of MIIT
• Bachelor’s degree offered by Universities of Computer Studies/Computer Universities of Myanmar
• Bachelor’s degree offered by Technology Universities in Myanmar in the areas of Computers, IT, Electronics, and Mechatronics
• Bachelor’s degree in Computers, IT, Electronics, and Mechatronics from recognised universities outside Myanmar that are equivalent to the degrees offered by MIIT and other universities in Myanmar
