Myanmar Institute of Information Technology (MIIT), Mandalay will be hosting the first International Workshop on Robotics & Control during March 13-15, 2020 in Mandalay, Myanmar. The workshop will be jointly organised by MIIT, International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Myanmar, the Embassy of India in Yangon, and EduTech and their partners in Canada and Dubai.

The workshop is aimed at providing hands-on training based on lectures by industry experts, and also the ability to work with state-of-the-art robotics and control equipment. It also aims to provide exposure to students, faculty, industry professionals, and decision makers to the potential that exists in the area of robotics and control. Largely, we hope that the workshop is going to create excitement in the emerging area of robotics and control and further higher quality education and research at MIIT, and in Myanmar at large.
