Overview
The Faculty of Computer Science focuses on teaching and research in the area of computer science. It offers a wide variety of courses, ranging from fundamentals of algorithmic thinking to machine learning. The pedagogy centers around a good mix of theory and application, with substantial emphasis on ‘learning to think’. The department offers courses at all 3 levels of education at MIIT – undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral – with electives in state of the art in computer science.

BE B.E. (Hons.) in Computer Science & Engineering
The B.E. (Hons.) programme in Computer Science & Engineering lays great emphasis on a broad-based coverage of the hard sciences (physics, chemistry, and mathematics) and the engineering sciences. This provides the student with a strong foundation for various courses in computer science & engineering. The programme focuses on the core areas of computer science, but also offers the students the opportunity to gain substantial depth in a specific area through a rich collection of electives.
