Applicants who accept the admission offer, complete all the formalities, and report to MIIT on Orientation Day will become students of MIIT. A special orientation programme will be conducted on the first day of their arrival in MIIT. In this orientation programme, newly-admitted students will be provided a brief overview of the academic processes at MIIT, such as the educational system, the curriculum, the courses, the grading methodology, etc. It is compulsory for all newly-admitted students to be present at MIIT on the first day, complete the admission-related formalities, and attend the orientation programme.

The classes for the newly-admitted students will usually begin on the first Monday of December.
